NBA Finals Gamethread: Do Cavaliers have enough left for Warrirors?

New, comments

Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday already includes a feeling of desperation for the Cavs. Can they flip the pressure back to Golden State?

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Plenty of questions surrounding Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Warriors and Cavs, although few have to do with the Cavs actually winning.

Can LeBron James carry the Cavs within winning distance at the end of the game? Will J.R. Smith make 8 threes and turn the series on its ear? Will Matthew Dellavedova pull off another stealth cheap shot that is only visible in slo-mo after Steph Curry has been thrown out of the game for retaliating?

This is what the Cavs are left with when in reality, losing Game 2 on the road is more likely than not, even if Kyrie Irving was healthy.

The Warriors continue to interest me from a Pacers perspective since they have players like Andre Iguoadala, David Lee and Harrison Barnes who could be part of a big deal after the season as the Dubs figure out how to keep their young talent paid while maintaining a deep playing rotation. Won't be easy and picking off a veteran talent will make some team happy next year.

The trick is coming up with a deal that could include the Pacers. What do you think?
