Game 1 of Paul George's return was a resounding success for the Indiana Pacers, not only got an impressive 15 minutes of action from the short-winded All-Star, but grabbed a blowout win over the Miami Heat. George had 13 point in his debut on 5-12 shooting, hitting three threes, including a pair back-to-back in the fourth quarter to put Indiana firmly in control of the game.
George had two rebounds, two assists, and two steals to go with his 13, looking far better than could've possibly been anticipated. George was helped out by Luis Scola, who scored six of his season high 23 points off of George misses as he pulled in seven offensive boards for a 23 & 12 double double. Solomon Hill had 19 and C.J. Miles had 17.
Indiana moves into 9th place with the win, completing a head-to-head tiebreaker over Miami, who they're tied with in the standings. The Pacers are one game out of the 8th spot with five games remaining.
