It took an extra 10 minutes, but the Indiana Pacers manage to claw out their sixth straight win to keep their playoff hopes alive by defeating the Washington Wizards in double overtime.The Pacers had long droughts throughout the game, giving away a four point fourth quarter lead late that allowed Washington to force overtime.
The Pacers struggled in overtime, but got a big bucket from Paul George that put the game into double overtime where they outscored Washington 14-10 in the second extra period after a 4-4 gridlock in the first. C.J. Miles led Indiana with 25 points, hitting a crucial three point early in the second overtime. George Hill had 24 points, scoring 14 in the fourth and overtimes, including a dagger three pointer. He also had 10 rebounds and nine assists.
Indiana is one win or a Brooklyn loss to Orlando away from clinching the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
