GO Bbb..GO BUL...GO BUUU...GO...ugh.
This is tougher than I thought, but there is no doubt that anyone pulling for the Pacers has to root like crazy for the Chicago Bulls on Monday night as they play the Brooklyn Nets.
I realize it's a tough ask, similar to rooting for the Patriots to do anything positive in football, but the Pacers put themselves in a bind and now need a Bulls win to once again control their own destiny in the final two games of the regular season.
While it seems none of the other Eastern Conference playoff teams want the Pacers in the post-season mix, the Bulls are still in play for a No. 3 seed and working Derrick Rose back into the mix. So donating a W to the Nets doesn't seem likely.
Beating a motivated Washington Wizards team and then hitting the road to wrap up against a struggling Memphis Grizzlies team won't be easy for the Pacers, but also won't likely matter unless Chicago brings it in Brooklyn tonight starting at 7:30 p.m. ET. So we can worry about handling the Wiz and Grizz tomorrow when, if all goes well tonight, the Pacers are working from the eighth spot in the East.
So yeah, LET'S GO Team that plays up near Lake Michigan!!!
