The Pacers and Celtics meet for the third time this season as both strive to make post-season play.

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers host Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics on Saturday night at the Fieldhouse as both teams continue their pursuit of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

The Pacers currently sit in seventh place, one game ahead of the Charlotte Hornets after Charlotte beat Chicago on Friday night and Toronto beat Miami.

The Celtics are lurking just two games behind the Pacers in 10th place after winning their third straight on Friday night, rallying in the second half to beat Orlando. The C's are playing without reserve star Isaiah Thomas, who didn't travel with the team and remain without leading rebounder Jared Sullinger, yet continue to compete nightly to stay in the playoff race.

Former Pacers reserve, Evan Turner scored 30 points on Friday and will team up with defensive-minded guards Avery Bradley and Marcus Smart to throw an active backcourt at the Pacers.

The Pacers will be in better shape with Roy Hibbrt cleared to go after missing the Milwaukee game to rest his left elbow.
