The Indiana Pacers host the Detroit Pistons at the Fieldhouse on Wednesday night, as George Hill will finally return to the starting lineup which will allow Frank Vogel to trot out the team's intended starting unit for the first time this season.
The Pistsons have beaten the Pacers in their two prior meetings this season, the first time after Christmas which started post-Josh-Smith winning binge that still has Detroit as a potential playoff player in the East. Things aren't a strong of late for the Pistons though, after losing point guard Brandon Jennings for the season wins have been harder to come by. Former Pacer, D.J. Augustin has stepped up to help fuel wins in their past two games, blowing up for a combined 53 points and 25 assists in the two wins.
Augustin's 25 points and 13 assists last night against the Heat, helped the Pistons jump out to a big lead and then continue to put down Miami's comeback attempts. The Pacers have been off since Saturday night, so catching the Pistons on a back-to-back should be an advantage for the home team.
