NBA All-Star Saturday Night: Open thread, schedule and odds

The Pacers aren't involved in the NBA's All-Star weekend festivities but there is still plenty of entertainment to take in with the Saturday night showcase events.

The extended All-Star break is working out perfectly for the Pacers. After winning four of their last five games and suddenly trending toward a playoff spot, the Pacers are also as healthy as they have been all year, so the extra time off to tend to all of the nagging injuries and rest until they meet again next Wednesday should be an added benefit.

The Pacers will get back together on Wednesday for two days of practice before playing Philadelphia next Friday. That game will be played one day after the trade deadline. Will all of the current Pacers report to practice on Wednesday? Who is most likely to be in a deal? Will the positive reports of Paul George returning change the approach by the front office? Should it?

The Pacers can get all of that rest since the closest thing the team has to action in New York for the All-Star game is Fever star Tamika Catchings playing with Russell Westbrook and Penny Hardaway in Shooting Stars Challenge. Here are the broadcast and event contestants along with their current odd of winning via Bovada (wow, these odds have been volatile). So...who ya got!
