The Pacers and Bulls meet for the third time this season on Wednesday night. The teams split the first two games with the home team winning.
The Pacers nearly swiped a W from the UC back in November but Jimmy Butler stymied Paul George and his game-winning shot attempt, leaving the Pacers with a 96-95 loss.
Paul George scored 26 points in the loss as part of the scoring binge he enjoyed in November. Now PG is slumping through December and hopes a difficult matchup against Butler will shake up his game.
"When going against Jimmy, it's always gonna be rough," George said. "But games like that are the ones that can change the slump. I know Jimmy's one of the best defenders in this league, but it's him being locked in defensively that might get me going offensively."
OK...interesting game plan, but if Butler brings out a better effort from PG then maybe it will work.
