The Pacers enter their game with the Kingson Wednesday night tied for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. This is due in large part to their 10-3 home record which is second only to Cleveland (12-1) in the East.
The Pacers came home limping off the road after two discouraging losses and minor health concerns. Paul George conitinues to complain about the impact of an upper respiratory infection while Monta Ellis is not complaining but trying to play through shoulder and knee issues that tend to vary.
Fortunately, the Pacers have the depth to play through these types of issues and need a few guys to step up against a dangerous Kings team that is as capable of beating anyone as they are combustible.
Over their past four games, the Kings have beaten the Rockets and Raptors by ten points while also losing to the Timberwolves and Wizards. Rajon Rondo, Rudy Gay and Boogie Cousins are all potent enough to flip a game individually but getting the collective effort to move in the same direction appears to create a struggle for consistency.
