The Pacers have been "on the road" since Saturday but haven't actually been on the move, remaining in L.A. after beating the Lakers on Sunday to play the Clippers on Wednesday night.
Two full days in La La Land left the Pacers plenty of time for rest and preparation for what is always a challenging matchup with Clippers. Between Chris Paul and the dynamic front-court duo of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, the Pacers will have their hands full trying to win a sixth consecutive game.
Will the Pacers continue starting their spread lineup? If so, Frank Vogel will likely have Plan B readily available to adjust if needed. Fortunately, the early injury report only includes Myles Turner (thumb).
The Clippers have Chris Paul listed as questionable with inflamed rib cartilage which certainly sounds painful. CP3 left the Clips' game against Portland on Monday with the rib issue. Also of note, after initially starting and then hardly playing, Lance Stephenson is back in the playing rotation in a reserve role. He recently admitted he was too amped up when playing the Pacers last season and now he's ready to play his game and just wants to beat his former team.
