Celtics vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers started strong and held on to win in Detroit giving them something to build on against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

The Pacers are back in action a night after collecting their first win of the season in Detroit. The Celtics make their first visit of the season to the Fieldhouse which brings local coaching legend, Brad Stevens home. Gregg Doyel has a good story on how close Stevens and Frank Vogel are from their days as young coaches bumping into each other on the daddy circuit.

The C's are off to a 1-2 start and Brad Stevens make shake up the playing rotation to find something that works better. That may change the starting lineup, although the guard lineup shouldn't change since they are getting a major boost from Isaiah Thomas off the bench, with Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley starting.

The best thing about the game tonight, though will be the Pacers warm up shirts to honor Mel Daniels.
