The Pacers rolled into Detroit winless in the preseason, took care of business and rattled off four consecutive wins. Sounds like a good plan for the regular season, no?
The 0-3 Pacers are desperate for a win to deliver a little positive reinforcement for the transformation they are undertaking with a new playing rotation and style of play that has wobbled down the stretch so far this season.
While the Pacers are still trying to figure out just who they are, the Pistons appear to have a firm grip on how they need to play to succeed after posting three quality wins to begin the season. With wins over the Hawks, Jazz and Bulls, maybe the Pistons will overlook the Pacers. Hard to believe that will happen since the Pistons saw some of the Pacers potent potential in two preseason losses to the blue and gold.
