The Indiana Pacers gave away a 9-point halftime lead in a pitiful half of basketball as the Utah Jazz rolled through Indiana, sending the Pacers to 0-3. Indiana scored just 27 second half points, getting beaten up on both ends of the floor failing to rebound and failing to hold onto the ball. Utah outscored Indiana 55-27 in the second half to secure the victory.

George Hill had 17 to lead the Pacers, but also had seven of Indiana's 24 turnovers. Hill also led Indiana with six rebounds in a game where they were outrebounded by 13, letting up 15 offensive boards, including 17 rebounds to Rudy Golbert. Paul George scored 16 and Monta Ellis had 12. Myles Turner scored 10 in his second game.
