The Indiana Pacers tip off their home schedule against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night.
Both teams should find plenty of motivation after disappointing losses on Wednesday night to open the season. The Pacers, of course, came up short in Toronto, while the Grizzlies fizzled at home, getting thumped by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Frank Vogel has said in the past he expects to start a traditional lineup against the big starting five of the Grizzlies. Jeff Green started at forward in the opener which makes them even bigger. Memphis still starts three local legends with Mike Conley (Lawrence North), Courtney Lee (Pike) and Zach Randolph (Marion) playing key roles for a team with high expectations.
The Pacers have high expectations, as well so something will have to give since both teams will be desperate to avoid an 0-2 start.
