The Pacers keep rolling through preseason play, taking on the Pistons at the Fieldhouse with a little different playing rotation expected.
Training camp injuries/rest will give the Pacers a thin backcourt. Just how then will depend on if and/or how much Monta Ellis and George Hill can play. Maybe Paul George will get some run at point guard. Fortunately, camp rosters allow enough depth to fill out the rotation.
The Pacers will add a player to the mix, with Chase Budinger ready to make his preseason game debut after easing into heavy action thus far while tending to a strained hamstring.
The Pacers beat the Pistons last week in Detroit, 115-112 when Paul George struggled to miss a shot in the first half, finishing the game with 32 points. The Pacers needed all of 'em to hold off the Pistons who enjoyed a 26-point effort from rookie Stanley Johnson off the bench. Johnson will get the start tonight as Detroit expects to rest Ersan Ilyasova.
