After three woeful quarters, the Indiana Pacers put everything in the fourth quarter basket in an attempt to come up with a late victory to end their six game losing streak. But down two with five seconds left, George Hill drove the lane, dished out to C.J. Watson. Watson stepped in and his game tying bucket rimmed in and out, sending Indiana into their seventh straight loss.
Hill was a big boost for the Pacers in his return to action, scoring 13 points on 5-10 shooting off the bench. Luis Scola helped Indiana make the comeback in the second half, with 14 points and seven rebounds on the night. David West had a near double double himself with 12 points and nine rebounds. After a woeful first half, Indiana outscored Miami 50-35 in the second half, but wasn't enough to erase their 17 point halftime deficit.
