After the Pacers snapped a six-game losing streak by beating the Jazz in early November, they beat the Heat in Miami to verify their early effort and start a stretch of play which delivered their best basketball of the season over the next two weeks.
The good times didn't last nearly long enough and as players have come and gone along with the level of play, the Pacers are once again mired in a six-game losing streak. This time they will try to snap the streak against the Heat as they play their fourth consecutive road game with one to go in Orlando on Sunday. Unlike early in the season, the Pacers' spirit seems shaken, but the return of George Hill off the bench tonight should help alter the mood of the team, not to mention the playing rotation.
The Heat hope to have Luol Deng back in the lineup after he missed Miami's loss to Charlotte on Wednesday with an illness. Surprising big man, Hassan Whiteside has been out with an ankle injury and will also be a game-time decision.
