The Pacers try to snap a losing streak against the top team in the East while remaining short-handed. George Hill will miss his 11th consecutive game due to injury.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers try to snap a five-game losing streak in Atlanta where the Hawks will try to extend their current winning streak to 14 games. A W allows the Hawks to tie a franchise record for consecutive wins set over 20 years ago.

Speaking of streaks, the Pacers will remain short-handed in the backcourt, ruling out George Hill (groin injury) for the 11th consecutive game, according to Candace Buckner.

That status likely had Jeff Tague and Kyle Kover jumping out of bed today feeling like Icky Woods getting his number called at the deli.

Gonna get some GOOD SHOTs today!

After seeing Mo Williams, Brandon Jennings and James Harden torch the Pacers recently, the Hawks' backcourt has to feel they are ready to feast. Maybe they will fight over the shots and end up undermining Atlanta's effort. No, that doesn't sound like the Hawks under Coach Bud, but we're trying to look for a positive spin.
