The Pacers roll into Houston appearing like a team that may never win another game. In reality, their last two games went down to the wire before fading to losses which has frustrations flowing.
Now the Pacers find themselves faced with a talented Rockets team that is coming off a 131-106 drubbing at the hands of Golden State. So both teams should be in grind-for-pride mode, but regardless of how much effort the Pacers bring, they are going to need to score some points to keep up with Houston. The Rockets are 9-6 in their last 15 games, but have only score less than 100 points in two of those games.
Believe it or not, the Pacers have scored 100 points in eight of their last 15 games, but after that 71-point effort in OT against Charlotte, it seems like such a tall task. Over the past few years, just when things seemed to be going south for good, the Pacers have turned in a surprising effort to turn things around. Such an effort in Houston would indeed be a surprise.
