Indiana Pacers Fantasy Preview: Someone has to score

New, comments

The Pacers head into training camp looking for answers to the questions surrounding a few big holes in the playing rotation.

Rob Carr

Ready or not, like it or not, the Indiana Pacers are about to tip off the 2014-15 season with training camp next week. This means we officially have to face a host of questions with answers that will likely be less than satisfying.

How will the Pacers make up for the loss of Paul George? Uh...next question.

Someone has to score, will Rodney Stuckey seize the opportunity and spot in the starting lineup? How about C.J. Miles?

Speaking of opportunity, will Solomon Hill have enough offense to become a pleasant surprise?

Stuckey, Miles, Hill, Chris Copeland and Damjan Rudez are among a group of players vying for three solid spots in the playing rotation. How long will it take Frank Vogel to settle on a consistent rotation?

Hey, I didn't say these questions weren't painful. Can Roy Hibbert be a 12 and 8 guy, consistently? The 25 and 12 nights followed by 5 and 0, 4 and 1 the next two nights is maddening. David West and George Hill have to carry a heavier load on offense, so how much do you expect?

Welcome to preview season and to get started considering these questions, I discussed the Pacers from a fantasy basketball perspective with Chris Towers on the CBS Sports Fantasy Basketball podcast. Please check it out and share you thoughts and/or questions you have about the Pacers' upcoming season.
