Summer Pacers vs. Summer Nets: Game thread, TV info and more

The Orlando Pro Summer League tips off on Saturday morning with the Pacers and Nets playing in the first game.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets get things started in Orlando with a 9 a.m. ET tip from the Amway Center practice court in Orlando.

Donald Sloan will be the only current Pacers player expected to see time on Monday as the starting point guard. Solomon Hill is day-to-day with a sprained ankle and likely won't play with day off before their next game. Other projected starters for the Pacers include guard Frank Gaines (IPFW/Main Red Claws), forwards DeQuan Jones (Miami/Reno Bighorns) and Kevin Jones (West Virginia/San Miguel Beerman) and center Willie Reed (Saint Louis/Reno Bighorns).

Like the Pacers, the Nets didn't have any draft picks but they did acquire a few rookies in the process, including guard Markel Brown (Oklahoma State), guard Xavier Thames (San Diego State) and forward Cory Jefferson (Baylor). The Nets also have some familiar young vets with Indiana ties joining the action in Orlando with both Mason Plumlee and Marquis Teague expected to play.

Check out the game on NBA TV and share your thoughts in the comments on the game and any players looking like they belong in the league come November.
