Pacers Links: Is Paul George ready to embrace PG-13?

New, comments

The Pacers star swingman has been tweeting out indications that he will be changing his number but he's done that before.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

Two years ago, Paul George sent out tweets prior to the 2012-13 season that a number change was in his future but that it wouldn't be until the next year. Maybe he meant the year after the next year.

PG has been dropping some not-so-subtle hints (at least if you've taken elementary Spanish) on Twitter that the No. 13 may be in his future.

So is the PG-13 campaign ready to take off? A recent surge in the #Trece tweets combined with a flight to Portland, home of Nike headquarters, reveals...I have entirely too much time on my hands trying to fill the offseason void until the Pacers make another move or start training camp. You can figure out the rest.

I discussed the offseason and more on The Phil Naessens Show, so check it out.
