The Indiana Pacers made their first significant change of the offseason which they announced earlier this week. No it wasn't a change to the roster, but instead the team's website Pacers.com. The idea behind the redesign is to enhance the site's usability across various digital platforms, something I really appreciate. I'll let Director or Digital Marketing, Jeff Tzucker explain.
"As more and more fans are visiting Pacers.com on mobile devices and tablets, having a responsive site design will give fans a better online experience for the foreseeable future," said Jeff Tzucker, Director of Digital Marketing. "Fans on all devices should be able to more easily find the content they want, from team news to highlights to ticket information to our work in the community."
The NBA Draft noise is ramping up in nearly every other NBA market among those teams that actually have a first round pick. As you can see in the links, consensus top pick, Joel Embiid sent all player power rankings and mock drafts into a frenzy when it was reported he was scheduled for surgery to repair a stress fracture on his foot. Big man with foot problems, what could go wrong? Although, I'm sure Embiid won't drop far after the mandatory, "everything went really well" report from his surgeons following the procedure.
I joined The Phil Naessens Show earlier this week to discuss the Pacers' offseason topics, including Lance Stephenson's potential signing and what to do about Roy Hibbert among other things. Check it out.
