The Indiana Pacers felt pretty good after beating the Wizards in Game 2 behind a monster game from Roy Hibbert. The game was far from perfect for the Pacers but their ability to take care of the ball, kept the Wizards running game in check and in particular, kept John Wall from rushing the Wiz the other way to make big plays.
The last time the Pacers were in Washington, they didn't take care of the ball and were run out of the gym thanks to 17 turnovers which turned into 21 points. Even half of those donations could prove lethal with the way the Wizards are playing and matching up with the Pacers.
Bottom line, the Pacers have to grab a W in D.C. before they return home on Tuesday night. The Verizon Center will be on fire in Game 3, and sucking the life from that crazy crowd early would send plenty of doubt throughout the arena. Playing well enough to earn a win would put the Pacers in firm control as the home team would be forced to deal with 'typical Wizards' talk all weekend.
