The Indiana Pacers jumped out by eight early in the first quarter with another terrific performance from the starters, but a late push from the Miami Heat trimmed Indiana's lead to one heading into the second quarter. Once there, the Miami bench lifted the Heat into the lead with better energy and intensity, with the Heat breaking a late half tie with an 8-0 run. Indiana scored the last four of the half, including a 0.1 second tip-in from Lance Stephenson to push them within four at the break.
The Pacers shot just 33.3% and had to do without David West, who picked up his third foul with four minutes left in the second quarter. Stephenson was once again fantastic in the first half, leading Indiana with 13 points on 5-7 shooting. Roy Hibbert and Rasual Butler each have six. For the Heat, they're being carried by Dwyane Wade, who has 13 of his own, but their bench, outscoring Indiana's 14-7, has helped shift the game. LeBron James has just six points and Paul George is 1-11 with three.
