In a crucial swing Game 4, the Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards came down to the wire after all early signs pointed to the Wizards running away with it. Washington crushed Indiana in the second quarter, winning 29-11 to take a 17-point halftime lead. The Wizards pushed their lead up to 19 before the Pacers staged a huge comeback to tie the game at 74-74. As a response, Washington ran off a 9-0 run, but huge play from Paul George and Roy Hibbert helped push the comeback as Indiana closed the game on a 19-7 run to beat Washington and take a commanding 3-1 series lead.
Paul George had the game of his life with 39 points and 12 rebounds and Roy Hibbert came alive in the second half to have 17 & 9. Their play helped overcome 20 Pacers turnovers, and 18 first half fast break points for Washington (the Wizards had zero in the second half). Indiana won the second half 57-37. Indiana is now 5-1 in their last six games.
