Pacers Links: Pacers begin challenging four-game stretch at home against Golden State

The Pacers' level of play has been a topic of debate during their current five-game winning streak. But if they keep the wins coming this week there will be no doubt as to how well the Blue and Gold are playing.

The Pacers are staring at four playoff teams up next on the schedule with the first order of business against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night at the Fieldhouse.

The Pacers and Dubs have had some entertaining games in their recent meetings and earlier this year, the Pacers put together one of their best efforts of the season to beat Golden State on their floor, absolutely ambushing them out of the gate.

There's been more holding on than ambushing against opponents lately, but the heightened challenge the Warriors present should raise the Pacers competitive spirit to a fever pitch with the playoffs starting to come into view. A strong effort at home against Golden State will also serve to build some momentum to take on the road for the rest of the week with visits to Charlotte, Houston and Dallas on tap while the Big Ten Women's Tournament takes place at the Fieldhouse.

Paul George indicated yesterday that he expects to play against Golden State with no lingering problems after his nasty fall against Utah. The Pacers could use George Hill back, as well which will likely remain a game-time decision for the training staff.
