The Indiana Pacers struggled not only with turnovers throughout the first half, but their shooting percentage plummeted to 27% as the Washington Wizards used a 10-0 run at the beginning of the second to jump up double figures. Washington moved ahead 16 at 41-25 halfway through the quarter before the Pacers finally found some rhythm, running of 12 straight points before Martell Webster hit a three to give Washington the 44-37 halftime lead.
Paul George leads Indiana with 14 points, but is just 4-12 from the floor as the Pacers a team shot just 31.1%. Luis Scola provided valuable minutes off the bench for a foul heavy David West, scoring 10. Al Harrington and John Wall each lead the Wizards with 10. Indiana has committed 10 first half turnovers, but most came in the opening minutes of the game.
