The Pacers remain on the road Monday night when they play the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. The two teams tangled on Friday with the Pacers putting forth their best effort in a long time to beat the Bulls by double digits.
The physical game on Friday came down to execution and an even more obvious factor, making shots, with Luis Scola rising up for his best game of the season. That shot making left the Pacers the next night in Memphis so while the physical play will be a given, taking care of the efficient execution will once again determine the Pacers' fate.
The Bulls will no doubt be motivated to make amends for the loss in Indy, so the Pacers have to match Chicago's intensity and effort at a minimum. The aggressor always fare better when it comes to loose balls, rebounds and of course, the officials' calls. That's been a problem for the Pacers on the road, but by now they should expect not getting every call and just play through it with a bigger-picture view of the final score in mind.
