Halftime score: Knicks lead Pacers 47-35

The Indiana Pacers stumbled out of the gate, struggling with turnovers and rebounding as the New York Knicks slowly expanded their first quarter lead the free throw line. The Knicks shot just 6-25 in the first quarter, but led 21-14 with the Pacers scoring just one point in the final 3:54 of the quarter. The Pacers managed to keep the game within striking distance, closing to within two at 23-21, but the Knicks responded with a 16-2 run to push their lead to 16.

The Pacers couldn't close the gap to within 10 points by halftime, heading into the break down 47-35, dealing with foul trouble on Roy Hibbert. Paul George picked up his second foul with 2.2 seconds left in the half. Lance Stephenson leads an anemic Pacers offense with eight points with George Hill scoring seven points on 3-3 shooting with four rebounds. Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony each have 14 to lead the Knicks.
