The Indiana Pacers had another slow start, falling behind 15-6 to the Philadelphia 76ers, spending most of the half playing catch up. The Sixers jumped ahead on three pointers and used five first half threes to stay within the game. The Pacers closed strong, breaking up a 48-48 tie with a 10-2 run to finish the half. The Pacers shot 50% after their slow shooting, but have shot 23 free throws, led by Paul George who shot 12-13 from the line in the first half, the same number of attempts as Philadelphia. George had 14 in the half, shooting just 1-5 from the field.
Lance Stephenson was incredibly efficient in the first half, scoring 19 points on 7-9 shooting, only missing his two three point attempts. The bench scored 15 points in the first half, outscoring Philadelphia 15-9. The Pacers have also outscored the Sixers 16-5 in points off turnovers while holding Philly to just 18 points in the paint.
