The Indiana Pacers continue trying to work through issues on the court while also juggling their playing rotation when they take on the Boston Celtics at the Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.
C.J. Watson remains out with an elbow injury and with Ian Mahinmi dinged up, Frank Vogel will turn to Andrew Bynum to make his debut in the backup center slot in the rotation. Bynum has recently proclaimed himself about 80 percent healthy but ready enough to contribute off the bench.
Regardless of which players are on the court and when, the Pacers are desperate to log a win after dumping their last four chances. A win over the Celtics would give the Pacers a boost through a soft spot in the schedule over the next week.
Boston arrives at BLF fresh off of a pair of home wins over the weekend with Rajon Rondo making a big impact in each, including 18 assists in the Celts' win over Detroit on Sunday. The C's made life tough on the Pacers in their last meeting at TD Garden, so the Pacers should have no problem focusing on the task at hand tonight. A win will not only snap the current slump for the Pacers but also wrap up a sweep of the season series with Boston.
