The Indiana Pacers host Brian Shaw and the Denver Nuggets on Monday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. As frustrated as the Pacers may be with their loss last night to the Magic, Shaw and co. are reeling far worse as they just try to piece together a healthy playing rotation.
After losing JaVale McGee and Danilo Gallinari earlier in the season, the Nuggets are now without guards Ty Lawson and Nate Robinson. Both guards dealt the Pacers damaging blows a couple of weeks ago in Denver when Nuggs made plays early and late to beat the Pacers.
Denver will surely miss their play-making point guards but they still have play makers that will require the Pacers to show up ready to defend their home court. That includes Timofey Mosgov who came off the bench to punish the Pacers in the post. Roy Hibbert fouled out in only 20 minutes of court time, so the Pacers will need a far better effort from the big man, regardless of how the game is called, to seal up the W in question tonight.
