The Indiana Pacers are back at the Fieldhouse to face the Atlanta Hawks which is never a fun tasks. While the two teams have taken turns frustrating one another over the past couple of year, the Hawks always present a grind for the Pacers.
A quick look at the matchup on paper reveals all kinds of problems as the Pacers enter the game on a four game losing streak, while a win tonight will extend Atlanta's win streak to seven games. That actually should give the Pacers a mental edge. The Blue and Gold have had a couple of days at home to work off the road and work on some details which should put them in good shape for a desperation level of effort to get a win.
The Hawks are rolling but this will be their third game in four days which included a win at home last night against Denver. Health has been a big factor for the Hawks, as they've had the bulk of their key rotation players available this year with Pike grad, Jeff Teague doing a nice job of running the show from the point. The Pacers have had no such luck and will play on Monday without reserve center, Ian Mahinmi.
