The Pacers are on the road again, this time looking to win their third game in a row when they visit the Palace at Auburn Hills to play the Pistons.
Detroit recently took the verb 'Tinsley' to a new level with Josh Smith. Instead of banishing Smith from the team, Stan Van Gundy outright released the talented forward who has never passed on a shot attempt. With Smith now in Houston, the Pistons will return to a bigger starting lineup with Greg Monroe starting at power forward next to Andre Drummond. That's not the swiftest front court, but is one that matches up just fine with the Pacers.
George Hill survived his season debut just fine for the Pacers but Frank Vogel expects to keep bringing him off the bench as they manage his minutes for the next two games. The game in Detroit will mark Rodney Stuckey's return to his NBA home for his first seven seasons in the league. I wonder if there will be homecoming video tribute?
