The Pacers hope to have center Roy Hibbert back in the lineup in Phoenix on Tuesday night, picking up where he left off after rolling his ankle while playing the Suns at the Fieldhouse. Hibbert's exit was the start of a bad night against the Suns as the Pacers simply couldn't keep up with the pacers Phoenix was setting.
The outcome was similar to the two losses the Suns handed the Pacers last season. In fact, the Suns have had their way with the Pacers in the last three meetings, winning each by an average of over 18 points per game.
The Suns have several dynamic playmakers that can keep the Pacers on the run with five players averaging between 14 and 16 points per game, led by reserve guard Isaiah Thomas. Thomas has missed the last three games with an ankle injury, but hopes to play. The Suns are 1-2 in those three games, but with Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Markieff Morris and Gerald Green, the Suns have plenty of problem playmakers available to test the Pacers defense.
