The Indiana Pacers are in D.C. without time to dwell on their frustrating loss the night before with a tough matchup against the Washington Wizards set for Wednesday night.
The Pacers and Wiz last met during a hard-fought playoff series but not much remains the same for the Pacers with four of their key players on the shelf for the game. Newcomer Rodney Stuckey remains step-to-step with his foot injury but survived over 17 minutes against Milwaukee and expected to keep building on his playing time.
As for the Wizards, they are without dynamic young guard Bradley Beal, but the addition of veteran Paul Pierce gives the Wiz a little more edge and creates a strong front court which will be handful for Roy Hibbert and the rest of the Pacers' bigs.
