The return of David West and C.J. Watson proved just what the Indiana Pacers needed to create some momentum against the Orlando Magic, with the two combining for 27 points in their first games back, West leading the way with 18 points. The Pacers led nearly the entire way, working hard to keep their lead over the Magic for much of the night before finally opening up a double figure lead that resulted in a 98-83 win.
The Pacers dominated the rebounding edge 53-32, including 17 on the offensive end while only allowing two. They also won the turnover battle (11-18) and points off turnovers (20-9). Rodney Stuckey led the Pacers with 24 points on 9-15 shooting. Lavoy Allen had a 10 point & 14 rebound (five offensive) off the bench for the Pacers. Nikola Vucevic led the Magic with 16 with Indiana product Victor Oladipo scoring 14.
