The Indiana Pacers were on the wrong side of another track meet against the Phoenix Suns, seeing a 20-18 lead turn into a deficit that slowly grew and grew in Phoenix's through the duration of the game. The Pacers just couldn't overcome their own offensive woes, with bad spacing turning into bad shots and bad turnovers that allowed Phoenix to open up and run for easy layups.
It didn't help Indiana's case that they suffered two more injuries in tonight's game with Roy Hibbert suffering a sprained ankle and Rodney Stuckey suffering a sprained wrist after falling over a camera man. Stuckey was Indiana's leading scorer with 14 points, getting to the line eight times. Solomon Hill led Indiana's starting unit with 13 points and six rebounds. Ian Mahinmi had his first double double of the season, scoring 12 and grabbing 10 boards. Gerald Green was red hot for the Suns, scoring 23 points off the bench.
