The Indiana Pacers play the Phoenix Suns at the Fieldhouse under the most favorable circumstance possible (you know, if you don't account for the Pacers missing five of their top eight players).
The Pacers have played just one game since beating Bulls last Saturday night. The win over Charlotte on Wednesday was fantastic but the days off before and after the game gave the Pacers a chance to rest and practice at home all week.
The Suns are riding high after winning their last three games, but they will be playing their third game in four days (although the win in Philly last night only counts about a half on the energy exertion meter). This is also the fifth of six consecutive road games for Phoenix so natural human biorhythms should have the Suns ripe for a let down.
Regardless of the opponent's state of mind, the Pacers still have to bring the energy and makes some shots to have a chance at the win. Roy Hibbert should have an advantage around the hoop against former teammate Miles Plumlee. But the Suns have some intriguing depth with Alex Len inside and Isaiah Thomas outside making their reserve unit go. As Frank Vogel put it, "We're going to have to bring it."
The Pacers will have Rodney Stuckey but C.J. Miles is still out along with David West, C.J. Watson, George Hill and Paul George.
