With the Pacers schedule about to heat up once again next week, the team took advantage of a light schedule this week to join David and Lesley West for their annual 'Come To Our House' Thanksgiving dinner for the men, women and children from local shelters.
"It's an opportunity to serve people less fortunate than we are," West said of his family's contributions to the even. "It's just a part of being a human being, caring for those (when) you see a need (by providing) what you can."
Several hundred guests enjoyed the dinner served up by the players, coaches and several local celebs of various renown on Thursday. One big star lending a hand was Tech grad and actor/comedian Mike Epps. Often seen sitting courtside for big games at the Fieldhouse, Epps is a strong supporter of the Pacers.
