The Indiana Pacers came up with a surprising follow-up game winner from Solomon Hill to defeat the Charlotte Hornets by two. The Pacers had fought back from a double digit deficit in the second quarter to put themselves in position to win late. The game came down to the final possession tied at 86, where a Rodney Stuckey game winning isolation attempt fell short of the rim, with Hill catching the miss and putting a behind the back layup that bounced in as time expired, sealing the victory.

Roy Hibbert led the way for the Pacers with 18 points on 7-14 shooting, grabbing 11 rebounds for his fourth double double of the season. Luis Scola had another big game with 15 points on 6-9 shooting, coming up with a key three point play late to tie the game at 86. Donald Sloan had 11 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in the starting lineup and Rodney Stuckey returned to action, scoring 11 points in 26 minutes of action. Lance Stephenson made some nice plays in a stat sheet filled night in his return against the Pacers with 10 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, but was just 4-12.
