Frank Vogel wants his Pacers to be "greedy" and try to get a winning streak going after snapping a six-game losing streak against Utah on Monday. That task won't be easy as the Blue and Gold head to Miami to take on the Heat who have moved on from the LeBron James era with a strong start to the season.
Former Pacers Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts made new when signing with the Heat prior to LeBron's decision, but another former Pacer has played a bigger role for the Heat so far. Shawne Williams is in the process of fully resurrecting his NBA career while starting at PF for the Heat. A Larry Bird favorite, Williams eventually fell out of favor with the Pacers after falling victim to a series of off-court problems that forced the Pacers to let him go.
The Pacers will likely roll 10 deep again as C.J. Miles remains questionable to play with migraine symptoms.
