The Indiana Pacers return to action on Monday night after a much-needed day off when they face the Utah Jazz led by local legend, Gordon Hayward.
Hayward's high school (Brownsburg) and college (Butler) exploits are well chronicled but now playing in his 5th NBA season (whoa!) the dynamic forward is off to a great start, leading the Jazz in points (18 ppg) and assists (5 apg). He also splashed a buzzer-beater to push the Jazz past LeBron James and the Cavs last week.
Like the Pacers, the Jazz will be playing their third game in four days after sneaking past the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night. The Pacers expect to have Roy Hibbert back after losing him in the first quarter on Saturday to a knee bruise. C.J. Miles remains questionable while dealing with migraine symptoms (huh?) and the rest of the injury list remains in civilian clothes.
