Pacers FanJam: Damo Rudez rocks rookie show, plenty of fun for fans

The Pacers annual FanJam event had fun for the whole familiy and even included a brief scrimmage along with other contests to let fans get to know the 2014-15 version of the Pacers.

The Fieldhouse turned into a fun house on Sunday afternoon after a crowd reported around 7,800 showed up to catch a glimpse of the suddenly new-look Pacers at the team's FanJam event.

Sure there are plenty of familiar faces, but a brief scrimmage gave fans a peek at Rodney Stucky, C.J. Miles and Damjan Rudez. Players were split evenly among the two teams for the "game" which consisted of two six-minute halves. Solomon Hill drained a 3-ball to ice the 19-13 win for the Blue team. S. Hill also won the team knockout game and beat Lavoy Allen in a sumo suit race.

George Hill met Chris Copeland in the 3-point final and the two torched the nets during their final round, but Copeland made 23 shots in one minute to beat GHill by two.

Rudez rocked the rookie show Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" performed without trepidation. Scott Agness also caught a clip of Rudez (below) along with Shayne Whittington's effort to sing "Latch" by Disclosure. As you can see, Rudez owned and most certainly earned an inside track on newest fan favorite.

If he can just knock down some 3's.

So...Media Day, check. Start of traning camp, check. FanJam, check.

Next up as we approach the regular season, a preseason game. That takes place on Tuesday evening when the Minnesota Timberwolves are at the Fieldhouse to show no Love to the Pacers.
