Daily fantasy games are all the rage these days and SB Nation has partnered with FanDuel to promote their daily NBA fantasy games this season.
The premise is easy enough and you can play for money with a variety of buy-ins or play for fun while challenging other fantasy players, which sometimes includes thousands of participants. Feel free to play for free until you are confident enough to put a little skin in the game. Payouts are based on a sliding scale depending on the entry fee ($2 to $5 is quite common) and the number of players in the particular game.
Disclaimer: Even though this is a sponsored post with affiliate links, all of the opinions in this post are my own. And as an FYI, FanDuel gave me some cash to play its daily fantasy games.
For daily games, you set your roster based on the stated salary cap and player salaries but after each game you get to start over the next time you play.
There are a few different ways to play so check out this primer on how to enjoy the NBA contests. With daily games, matchups are always a big factor so throughout the season we'll try to point out quality plays involving Pacers players. Let's hope there are many! We'll aslo expect to have some site-specific tournaments which should be fun.
Check out FanDuel.com and start playing by clicking HERE.
Please note, that you must be 18 years or older and live in Canada or the US to play. Additionally, residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana and Washington cannot play for money due to state restrictions.
