The injury news keeps on coming for the Indiana Pacers. Today it was announced that Rodney Stuckey will play limited minutes in Wednesday's opener due to his lingering foot injury, and the fact that he has not played in ten days.
Vogel said since Stuckey hasn't played in 10 days, "he's going to be limited with his minutes. He's going to play a back-up role."

Stuckey's limited availability means that Donald Sloan will likely start, and get the bulk of the minutes at point guard. Then came some potentially frightening thoughts from the fantastic Candace Buckner.
Stuckey thinks he'll have to play some backup point while G. Hill & Watson are out. Also, don't be surprised 2 see S. Hill w/ backup PG mins

Solomon Hill getting time at point guard is...not ideal. If you fancy yourself a good ball-handler, and possess a solid understanding of the game of basketball I suggest you get down to Bankers Life Fieldhouse and offer up your services. Things are getting bleak, but try not to let that diminish your excitement for real Pacers basketball. Even if the Pacers roster is decimated and the opponent is hardly worthy of being considered an NBA quality team, basketball returns and that is something to be excited about. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself.
