The short-handed Indiana Pacers finish preseason play against the short-handed Charlotte Hornets on Thursday evening.
George Hill and David West remain sidelined for the Pacers along with Rodney Stuckey and C.J. Watson which creates a reserve-heavy starting lineup with Donald Sloan at point guard and Luis Scola at forward. While the individual players need to continue prepping for the regular season, the goal is suddenly avoiding any more injuries in the process.
Lance Stephenson is out for Charlotte, as well which certainly takes any possible juice out of the final practice game. Al Jefferson is always a monster matchup for Roy Hibbert, so focusing on the bigs going at each other is where the bulk of the intrigue for this game lies.
