Paul George puts up shots at the Fieldhouse

The Pacers forward showed his shooting touch isn't broken as he took to the court following the team's practice to take some shots.

Before the Pacers packed up after practice to head to Minnesota, Paul George put ups some shots wearing practice gear from head to toe. Considering the state of PG's leg three months ago, the sight of George at the Fieldhouse was certainly encouraging.

Consider it a glimmer of light in what remains a long tunnel of recovery for the Pacers' star. That fact was on display as well, as George gingerly moved around between shots. Scott Agness caught some of the action which you can see here.

Kinda reminds me of George McCloud circa 1996, find a spot and put it up. Moving around on the court and making shots is a great sign of progress. Next up running, then cutting and then...jumping. That will be a glorious day, indeed.

But for now, seeing PG shoot the rock before the season even starts means those milestones won't be too far behind. It will only seem like it because of how he will be missed by the Pacers this year.
