Per various reports from their own social media accounts, surprise appearances are not anything new for several members of the Indiana Pacers.
Whether it is George Hill randomly dunking at a stranger's home located somewhere, presumably, in Indianapolis:

Or, Solomon Hill and Paul George, albeit more discretely, dropping off some copies of NBA 2K15 at area eateries, fans never know exactly when one of the Pacers might just take the opportunity to reach out to fans:
2 copies of 2K15 were left at Hoaglins To Go. #dedenottheretoday #soaskforlauren #tellthemsolosentyou… http://t.co/INWweWQFNS

In keeping with this tradition, several members of the Pacers' roster along with Boomer, members of the Pacemates and Boom Babies, and the Pacers' television and radio broadcasters will be splitting up and heading out to four select area high school football games.
Coined as #TouchdownPacers by Pacers.com, fans attending games at either Arsenal Tech, Center Grove, Pike, or Carmel on Friday October 17th, will be treated to more than just the brightly shining Friday night lights. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Pacers rally-towel. Various other special giveaways (i.e. T-shirts, mini footballs, etc.) are scheduled to be handed out during each of the four respective games.
The following is a breakdown of which players are scheduled to be where:
